Why Donate to Goodwill?

When you donate to Goodwill, you directly support individuals in our community. Your donations help generate funds for Goodwill's mission to provide vocational services and employment opportunities for people with barriers to employment. Learn more about Goodwill.

All donations are tax-deductible. Please reference Goodwill Industries International’s Valuation Guide for Goodwill Donors to help you determine your Goodwill donation’s value.

 
 

Donation Centers

You can donate at any of our regional retail stores during regular business hours or at any of our Donation Centers listed below. Don't have time to drop it off? Call 865.584.7726 to see if you are eligible for a free home pick-up.

 
 

In addition to donation centers at every Goodwill store Monday- Saturday 9:00am - 7:00pm and Sundays 1:00pm - 5:00pm, you are also welcome to visit the following Donation-Only locations

  • Antiques and collectables

  • Artwork and frames

  • CDs, DVDs, records and videos

  • Musical Instruments

  • Sports Equipment

  • Computers and related electronics, working or not - we recycle with Dell Reconnect.

Items we are unable to safely accept:

  • Broken, damaged and/or wet goods - we do not repair, refinish or reupholster items

  • Any product that does not meet current safety standards, including recalled items

  • Televisions

  • Mattresses, box springs or waterbeds

  • Any items containing propane, gas, kerosene or Freon (air conditioners, refrigerators, etc.)

  • Guns and ammunition

  • Paint

  • Tires

  • Pianos or organs

  • Large appliances
