Free Job Training Opportunities at Goodwill

Participants in the SNAP Employment and Training program can receive supportive services to cover all cost related to the education or training program they choose at Goodwill.

Management Training and Industry Certifications

Receive high quality training for careers in customer service, hospitality and tourism, or food and beverage industries. Receive industry certifications from ServSafe, the American Hotel and Lodging Education Institute, and the National Retail Federation. 

Computer and Office Skills Training

Learn to use the Windows 10 operating system and the Microsoft Office 2013 applications in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and/or Quickbooks. Learn these programs at your own pace; participate in one of the four concentrations to prepare for specific industry jobs.

Certified Nurse Assistant Training

CNA classes include up to 164 hours of classroom and clinical instruction on the proper physical and psychological care for patients. This course is designed to prepare students to take the Tennessee State Nurse Aide Training (NAT) exam and become State-Certified Nursing Assistants.

Call the DHS Family Assistance Service Center at 1-866-311-4287 and ask about enrolling in SNAP's Employment and Training Program. 

If you do not receive SNAP benefits but think you may eligible...
Complete the SNAP application online. Once approved, ask to enroll in SNAP's Employment and Training Program.
