Select an industry concentration and earn a nationally-recognized certification in your field of choice. Job placement assistance upon completion of the course is included as part of the program.
Available Industry Concentrations
All concentrations include trainings in customer service, soft skills and communication, financial literacy, and personal presentation.
Retail - Learn to operate a Point of Sale cash register system and prepare to earn a National Retail Federation Certification in Customer Service and Sales. This course will prepare you to enter and advance in the retail industry.
Food and Beverage - Earn a ServSafe Certification in Food Handler Safety. This course will prepare you to enter into the food service industry by providing instruction in basic food safety, personal hygiene, cross contamination and allergens, time and temperature, and cleaning and sanitation. Individuals may also elect to learn how to use the Point of Sale cash register system.
Hospitality and Tourism - Earn an American Hotel and Lodging Educational Institute Certification and be ready to obtain employment in the hospitality and tourism industry. Guest Service Gold is the industry standard for providing guest services. Certifications include hotel front desk agent, hotel housekeeping, hotel maintenance, restaurant server and restaurant cook.
Office and Clerical - Become proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Looking for a career as an administrative professional? Need to brush up on your computer skills? This track will provide basic and intermediate level instruction designed to prepare you to successfully obtain employment in an office environment.
