Back on Track is helping young adults find their next careers steps. This program provides vocational services at no cost to youth between the ages of 16-24.

Self-Paced Applications in the Computer
Environment
(SPACE) 

SPACE (Self-Paced Applications in a Computer Environment) provides participants with self-paced training in the Windows 7 operating system and the Microsoft Office 2013 applications in Word, Excel and PowerPoint. QuickBooks 2013 training is also available. There are two levels of SPACE available, as well as four concentrations.

Supported Employment

Supported Employment is a cooperative effort between Goodwill Industries and the Division of Rehabilitation Services. Participants in this program are provided with the opportunity to complete up to three community-based assessments designed to identify employment opportunities, receive job placement assistance and receive continuous support and retention services so competitive employment in the community can be maintained.

Vocational Evaluation

Vocational Assessment is a diagnostic program, which uses computerized and traditional assessment instruments and vocational exploration, designed to assess a person’s vocational, psychological, educational, social and physical levels of functioning in relation to their interests, intelligence and aptitude.

Work
Adjustment

Individualized Work Adjustment services, designed to establish appropriate social behaviors and work habits necessary to successfully obtain and maintain competitive employment, are based on information obtained from the Vocational Assessment, the client and the referral source.

Work Keys Services

These services are provided at the Kingston Pike facility and rural satellites and include basic academic remediation, preparation for standardized tests such as the General Equivalency Diploma (GED), comprehensive work readiness assessments, basic skills training, and social and life skills training.
