DRIVER'S EDUCATION

The Driver's Education program is instructed by a Tennessee state certified instructor, who assists individuals in obtaining a valid Tennessee driver's license by combining classroom work, computer simulation and on-the-road experience. The five-week class is broken into approximately three weeks of classroom and computer simulation driving and two weeks of on-the-road experience.

During the first three weeks of class, consumers spend four hours a day, five days a week studying the Tennessee Driver's Manual, listening to lectures, watching videos, taking quizzes and tests, and practice driving on the computer simulator.

All students must obtain his/her learner's permit before getting behind the wheel of a vehicle. Behind-the-wheel driving lasts approximately two-weeks, but the time limits can be expanded to meet individual needs.
