Goodwill, Waste Connections & City of Clinton Team up to Provide Recycling Center

Goodwill Industries-Knoxville, Inc., Waste Connections and the City of Clinton have teamed up to bring the residents of Clinton a GREEN alternative. The Grand Opening of Clinton Recycling Center/Goodwill Attended Donation Site occurred on Thursday, July 22nd.

The recycling center is now open to the Clinton community and accepts such items as paper, cardboard, plastics, glass, textiles and aluminum as well as donations of clothing and household items for Goodwill.

Last year, Goodwill and its community partners recycled over 31,282,230 lbs. of materials, and with the added Clinton Recycling Center, we hope to keep even more recyclable goods out of landfills in 2010.
