May 22, 2008, join Goodwill Industries and Keep Morristown/Hamblen County Beautiful in a fabulous Customer Appreciation Celebration. Bring your old computers for recycling and securely shred old documents for FREE – Thursday, May 22^nd from 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM at Goodwill Industries at 2812 W. Andrew Johnson Hwy. All recyclers will receive a customer appreciation coupon for 20% Off. This free e-Cycling and document shredding event is sponsored by Goodwill Industries and Keep Morristown/Hamblen County Beautiful.

Why is it important to recycle computer materials and shred personal documents? Computer monitors and circuit boards contain significant amounts of lead, chromium, cadmium and mercury and through recycling this equipment, you are keeping hazardous materials out of our waste water.
